Overview
This role is being introduced to support a strategic transformation in the Territory Manager (TM) model where a proactive and driven sales approach focused on quote generation and lead capturing is the center of vision. The Inside Sales Representative will manage remote business partners (clinics, breeders, shelters) outside optimized geographic clusters, ensuring consistent coverage while enabling TMs to focus on high-potential clinics within their travel radius.

The Inside Sales Representative is a critical enabler of Petline's growth strategy. By taking ownership of remote business areas and supporting strategic initiatives nationally, this role:
- Expands coverage across 300+ clinics, breeders, shelters.
- Frees TMs to focus on high-potential clusters, driving stronger in-person quote performance.
- Accelerates lead generation and quote acquisition through virtual engagement.
- Supports a shift to proactive sales execution, ensuring Petline remains competitive in a consolidating veterinary market, breeder and shelter program.
This role is not just about maintaining accounts—it's about creating measurable impact on territory growth and helping Petline capture untapped opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Clinic Engagement & Coverage
- Manage outreach to remote veterinary clinics, breeders shelters via phone, email, and virtual meetings.
- Educate clinic and business partner staff on Petline's insurance products, promotions, and onboarding processes.
- Maintain consistent engagement cadence to ensure brand visibility and lead generation.
- Sales Enablement
- Drive quote generation and trial activations through virtual channels.
- Support clinics in completing trial submissions and other areas of their needs
- Collaborate with TMs to identify and nurture high-potential leads for submission.
- Data & Reporting
- Track engagement metrics, lead conversion rates, and clinic performance in CRM.
- Provide insights to Territory Managers for strategic prioritization.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with marketing and operations teams to execute geo-targeted campaigns.
- Support promotional initiatives tied to community events and shelter partnerships.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in inside sales, customer engagement, or account management.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work with CRM tools and manage multiple accounts efficiently.
- Knowledge of veterinary industry, breeder or shelter programs, or pet insurance is an asset.
Performance Metrics
- Monthly Lead Generation Targets (e.g., 100+ leads from remote clinics).
- Clinic Engagement Frequency (touchpoints per clinic per quarter).
- Contribution to overall territory growth KPIs.
Salary Range: $50,200 - $92,500
