In this role, you'll be responsible for managing customer parts requirements for drilling rigs and off-highway vehicles. You'll play a key role in strengthening customer relationships and ensuring exceptional service delivery. Reporting to the Customer Support Supervisor, this position is ideal for a motivated self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
- Respond promptly and accurately to customer inquiries, providing pricing, delivery quotations, and order updates.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through proactive communication and follow-up.
- Collaborate with the Parts Specialist team to share knowledge and maintain high service standards.
- Expedite customer orders and manage backlogs efficiently.
- Provide scheduled after-hours parts support as required.
- Track and follow up on lost sales opportunities.
- Perform additional duties as directed by the Customer Support Supervisor.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year previous parts sales experience is required.
- Background in heavy-duty equipment or industrial manufacturing preferred.
- Parts Technician certification is considered an asset.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on technical and mechanical understanding.
- Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and grow within an organization.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills—both written and verbal.
