Our client is a well-established recruitment firm specializing in the
transportation and manufacturing
sectors across Quebec. Known for its commitment to people and talent development, the company is looking to add a proactive, dynamic professional who understands the realities of the Quebec market.

Position Summary

As a
Recruiter specializing in manufacturing and transportation
, you will play a key role in recruiting qualified personnel, including
Class 1 drivers
and production staff. You will act as both a strategic HR partner and a company ambassador when meeting with clients in the field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the
    full recruitment cycle
    : job postings, screening, interviews, reference checks, and onboarding.
  • Understand the
    regulations and requirements for hiring Class 1 drivers
    in Quebec.
  • Collaborate closely with clients to assess their needs and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Conduct
    on-site visits
    to meet clients and candidates.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of
    Quebec labour legislation
    (CNESST, labour standards, etc.).
  • Provide occasional support to the HR team on administrative and compliance matters.

Qualifications

  • Fluency in English and French
  • Minimum
    2–3 years of recruitment experience
    , ideally within a
    staffing agency
    or in the
    transportation/manufacturing
    sectors.
  • Good understanding of
    Class 1 driver hiring requirements
    in Quebec.
  • General knowledge of
    human resources practices
    and
    Quebec labour law
    .
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Strong ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must have a
    personal vehicle
    and a valid driver's licence.
