What We're Looking For:

• Photography Expertise: Minimum of 2 years of professional portrait or event photography experience.
• Creative Eye: Ability to frame and capture stunning portraits, providing concise verbal direction when posing multiple subjects.
• Passion for the Holidays: You believe in the magic of Christmas and enjoy bringing joy to others.
• Customer Service Skills: Positive, friendly attitude with excellent communication skills.
• Flexibility: Available to work during peak retail hours, weekends, and holidays.
• Team Player: Comfortable around crowds and interacting with new people all day.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for 4-5 hours and lift or move 10-20 lbs.
• Bilingualism: French is an asset but not required.
• Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old.
• Residency: Must be located in Ottawa, Canada.

Your Responsibilities:

• Capture Moments: Photograph families and children during their visits with Santa, ensuring high-quality images.
• Provide Direction: Guide subjects to achieve the best possible shots with clear and friendly instructions.
• Equipment Operation: Proficiently use professional photography equipment and software.
• Efficient Workflow: Manage time effectively during busy periods.
• Customer Interaction: Engage warmly with families to make them comfortable and enhance their experience.
• Quality Assurance: Review photos to ensure they meet company standards before processing.
• Team Support: Collaborate effectively with colleagues for smooth event operations.
• Adhere to Policies: Follow company protocols, including dress code and customer privacy guidelines.

Requirements:

• Training Attendance: Must be able to attend and complete training during the week of November 10-19.
• Work Availability: Able to work a minimum of 10 hours per week.
• Portfolio Submission: Provide a portfolio showcasing your recent photography work.
• Policy Compliance: Adhere to company policies, including punctuality and time tracking.
• Technical Proficiency: Must be experienced and comfortable using Windows Computers, Lightroom CC, DSLRs, Studio Lights and Triggers.

Job Location: St.Laurent Mall, Carlingwood Mall & Billing Bridge Mall Options Available (Ottawa, Ontario)

Hours: Seasonal Part-time | Weekday & Weekend, Morning, Afternoon & Evening Shifts Available. Average Shift length 4.5hrs. Max weekly hours range 5-20hrs. Flexible Schedules we are very accommodating.

Experienced photographers only, must be comfortable using Canon DSLRs, PocketWizards, Lightroom, and computers. This is not an entry level position.
