What You'll Be Doing As a Tour Guide or a Tour Assistant, you'll be the heart and soul of our tours, bringing Canada's beauty and stories to life. Every day is different, filled with opportunities to:
  • Lead groups of diverse travelers on exciting tours through Western Canada, from the Rockies to the West Coast.
  • Share stories, fun facts, and insights into Canada's culture, history, and landscapes.
  • Create a welcoming, fun, and safe environment for all travelers.
  • Handle logistics, manage schedules, and keep the group on track.
  • Build connections and lifelong memories with travelers from across the globe

What We're Looking For
  • Great storytelling skills – you know how to keep a crowd entertained.
  • Excellent people skills, with the ability to connect with travelers from all walks of life.
  • Reliability, adaptability, and a knack for handling on-the-go logistics.
  • Previous guiding experience is a plus but not required – we provide training for the right candidates
  • A love for Canada and travel – bonus points if you know your way around Western Canada

Requirements
  • Ability to work weekends and some evenings.
  • Criminal Record Check (Vulnerable Sector) - We also work with Students
  • Occupational First Aid certification including CPR-C (or willing to obtain).
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a bonus.

Payment Structure Competitive wage based on experience and qualifications (to be discussed)
  • Average of $20-25 p/h Tour Guides or Assistant Guides (Step-on Guides) - Most Tours are based on a set tour rate
  • Average of $22-30 p/h for Drivers and Driver Guides - Most tours are base on a set tour rate
  • Training and Training Tours conducted at minimum wage

  • Only suitable candidates will be contacted. 
  • All potential hires are required to be able to get to departure points on their own. 
  • One of our major departure points is Canada Place in downtown Vancouver.
