Work Description: 

The Mitigation Technician is responsible for assisting in the restoration and clean-up of properties affected by fire, water, mold, and other environmental damage. This role involves both on site and off-site tasks, including the use of specialized equipment and safety procedures. The technician works under the supervision of a crew lead and follows established protocols to ensure efficient and safe mitigation practices. 

This position requires being available every 3 week for the on call rotation schedule

Description de poste: 

Le technicien(ne) en après sinistre est responsable de l'assistance dans les travaux de restauration et de nettoyage des propriétés touchées par un incendie, des dégâts d'eau, de la moisissure et d'autres dommages environnementaux. Ce poste comprend des tâches sur place et hors site, incluant l'utilisation d'équipements spécialisés et l'application de procédures de sécurité. Le technicien travaille sous la supervision d'un chef d'équipe et suit des protocoles établis afin d'assurer des pratiques de mitigation efficaces et sécuritaires.

Ce poste exige d'être disponible toutes les 3 semaines pour une rotation de garde.

Responsabilités principales: 

  • Effectuer le nettoyage de propriétés endommagées par la fumée et le feu
  • Effectuer le nettoyage après dégâts d'eau (catégories 1, 2 et 3)
  • Intervenir en présence de dangers environnementaux
  • Soutenir les structures et les propriétés touchées
  • Manipuler, nettoyer et organiser les biens (contenu)
  • Entretenir l'équipment et les installations 
  • Travailler en collaboration avec les membres de l'équipe
