Job Summary

Assist in pruning and removal of trees. Assists in rigging and lowering tree sections safely. Operates chainsaw, wood chipper, stump grinder. Drives truck up to 4500kg. Tows and backs a trailer. Cleans Job sites. Suitable candidates may also apprentice as an arborist and learn to ascend, prune, and remove trees as an option. Work in adverse weather if required to do so.

Skills and experience

Must be Physically fit, able to jump fences, get on roofs, briskly bend over and pick up limbs and debris. Able to lift 100lbs. if need be. Stamina to haul brush and wood all day.

Must be reliable able to self discipline and take direction and receive training. Must be willing to take any required qualification courses.

Must be able to use a chainsaw professionally., limbing, bucking wood, felling if required.Experience using ropes for rigging. Knowledgable tying knots to attach equipment to the arborist line.

Experienced arborists also eligible and will receive th higher posted amount.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Casual, Apprenticeship

Pay: $20.00-$50.00 per hour
