Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Coordinator of Administration and Operations based in British Columbia, Canada. The Coordinator will oversee daily operational and administrative duties, ensuring the smooth functioning of the Crisis Centre's programs and services. Responsibilities include supporting office management, coordinating logistics for events and training sessions, maintaining organizational records, managing supply procurement, and collaborating with staff across departments. The role also involves preparing reports, assisting with compliance and regulatory tasks, and ensuring administrative processes align with the Centre's goals of delivering effective crisis services and community impact.

Qualifications

  • Administration and Organizational Skills: Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities to oversee operations and administrative tasks efficiently.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for collaboration with teams, stakeholders, and participants.
  • Event and Project Coordination: Experience in managing event logistics, project planning, and coordinating cross-departmental activities.
  • Technical and Office Management Skills: Proficiency with office software, document management systems, and a general knowledge of procurement processes.
  • Problem-Solving and Adaptability: Ability to analyze challenges, troubleshoot operational issues, and respond flexibly to the needs of a dynamic environment.
  • Experience or familiarity with non-profits, social services, or mental health fields is a strong asset.
  • Post-secondary education in administration, operations, or a related field is preferred.
