Our client, a leading company in the creative and digital solutions industry, is seeking a
Senior Accountant
to join their finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing core accounting operations, financial reporting, compliance, and process improvement while supporting strategic financial initiatives across departments. This is a Fulltime and Direct Hire role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily accounting functions including billing, collections, and reconciliations.
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial reports in accordance with accounting standards.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and statutory requirements.
  • Lead month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain financial accuracy and alignment.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
  • Mentor and guide junior accounting staff.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/CMA designation an asset)
  • 6–8 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or professional services environment.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS and financial reporting principles.
  • Proficient in accounting software (preferably
    Sage
    ) and advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
