Job Description

Our facility in Toronto, Canada incorporates our Head Office, Sales Office, Parts Procurement Team, as well as our new State-of-the-Art PCB Assembly line. In business since 2003, we are securing a strong brand name and reputation in low-to-mid volume Turn-key PCB assembly throughout the EMS industry.

Currently hiring a Material Coordinator to support the activities in relation to material tracking. Salary is dependent upon experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, On-site

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. Material Tracking: Material tracking with suppliers and BOM managers for purchased parts and consigned parts and providing the information to planning team for both SZ & TT.

2. Consign Stock Inventory Verification: Initiate a request for consign stock verification for orders and track the consign stock inventory if it is shipping from Shenzhen warehouse. - For TT production.

3. Assisting Shenzhen Material Coordinator: Assisting Shenzhen Material coordinator in tracking the parts for orders being assembled in Shenzhen by providing information that includes tracking numbers and lead time for parts.

4. Unpurchased Parts Follow Up: Following up with purchasers for unpurchased parts including production loss and BOM changes to make sure the purchasers don't miss purchasing these parts.

5. Parts Counting Follow Up: Following up with warehouse team to get the parts counting done on time, so the materials will be ready for IQC.

6. Communication and Coordination: Communicating with different external and internal stakeholders including suppliers, planning team members, BOM managers, warehouse, project coordinators and production team to resolve the issues regarding parts receiving and providing necessary information to all stakeholders regarding parts.

7. Managing the Production Planning File: Managing and Maintaining the material section of production planning file including PCB, stencil, parts ready dates, and CTB, and converting the flexible order to Firm orders.

8. Adding New Orders to Production Planning File: Adding new orders to production planning file and converting those orders to flexible orders and splitting the orders into batches in case a client decides to split the assembly.

9. Tracking Order Activities until Production: Follow up with all the related stakeholders to get the PCB, stencil, parts ready dates and push teams to finish the tasks like parts counting, IQC, and client confirmation on-time to move the orders into production in a timely manner.

10. Monitor the readiness of production materials to ensure work orders start on schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree ( Optional )
• A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Management, or a related discipline.
• Organized, self-motivated team player, able to work well under pressure.
• Communication skills in English and Mandarin are required.
• Effective time management skills as well as prioritization and execution to ensure optimization of results with minimal lost time.
• Knowledge of electronics components is an asset.
• Strong skills with MS Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $21.50-$25.00 per hour

Experience:

• PCBA Manufacturing: 1 year (preferred)
