Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled CNC Milling Machinist (5-axis) to operate and maintain the set-up of our 5-axis CNC milling machines. The successful candidate will be responsible for machining complex parts and components to precise specifications.

Responsibilities:

  • - Operate and maintain 5-axis CNC milling machines
  • - Read and interpret complex blueprints and CAD designs
  • - Machine complex parts and components to precise specifications
  • - Conduct quality control checks to ensure accuracy and precision
  • - Troubleshoot machine issues and perform routine maintenance
  • - Collaborate with other team members to meet production goals and deadlines

Requirements:

  • - 3+ years of experience as a CNC Milling Machinist (5-axis)
  • - Strong knowledge of 5-axis CNC milling machines and programming
  • - Experience with CAD/CAM software and programming languages (e.g. G-code, M-code)
  • - Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and CAD designs
  • - Strong attention to detail and quality
  • - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • - Post-secondary education in a related field (e.g. machining, manufacturing)
  • - Experience with lean manufacturing principles and practices
  • - Certification in CNC machining or a related field
