Duties

  • Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, peeling, and assembling ingredients under the guidance of chefs or kitchen supervisors
  • Support food service operations by bussing tables, clearing dishes, and ensuring dining areas are tidy and welcoming
  • Help with cleaning duties including washing dishes, sanitizing workstations, and maintaining overall kitchen hygiene to meet health regulations
  • Contribute to catering and banquet setups by organizing supplies, setting up serving stations, and assisting with event-specific needs
  • Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures and adhering to safety standards at all times
  • Support cooking activities by preparing basic ingredients or assisting chefs during meal preparations
  • Maintain organized storage of supplies and ingredients to promote efficient kitchen workflow

Experience

  • Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or catering environment is highly preferred
  • Familiarity with food handling safety protocols and sanitation standards
  • Experience working in banquet or large-scale catering settings is a plus
  • Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques and kitchen operations
  • Strong teamwork skills with the ability to follow instructions accurately in a fast-paced environment
  • Prior hospitality or food service experience is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated candidates
