Customer Contact Centre Advisor

As a Contact Centre Advisor, you will seek to understand what is important to each member and partner with them on their individual financial journey. Servicing an assigned portfolio, you will deepen member relationships and uncover members' short- and long-term goals; tailored solutions may include loans, investments, or day-to-day products and services.
What you'll do:
- Advise an assigned portfolio of members on a full range of deposit and investment products (including new personal and business accounts, cards, term deposits, and registered products), and associated services.
- Advise members on personal and small business lending products and services (including mortgages, personal loans, lines of credit, credit cards, and associated insurance products).
- Interview loan applicants, analyze financial information, assesses credit relating to loan requests, and make recommendations to the credit department.
- Deepen relationships with an assigned portfolio of members through regular review, identification of opportunities, and personalized contact.
- Manage a pipeline of opportunities with a dedicated contact strategy.
- Service and manage estate accounts within an assigned portfolio.
- Take personal responsibility for delivery of the SASCU Member Experience and contributes to the team creation of a warm and welcoming environment.
What you'll bring:
- One year of post-secondary education or equivalent.
- 2 – 3 years of financial services experience.
- Demonstrated sales skills.
- Excellent communication skills including the ability to listen and convey information in a clear and welcoming manner.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical ability.
- High comfort level with technology and proficiency with digital systems.
- Attitude of continuous learning and development, including commitment to complete relevant training (including university level courses) within 1 year of attaining the position.

This is a temporary, 12-month position. The schedule will be full-time, Monday-Friday or Tuesday - Saturday.
