The College of New Caledonia requires a part-time instructor to teach the First Nations Art Design course in the Fine Arts Certificate program

Skills & Qualifications

  • Working towards, or a Master's degree in Fine Arts or another relevant field is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Indigenous cultures, Indigenous arts and demonstrated engagement with communities.
  • Recent teaching experience in a post-secondary environment would be an asset.
  • This position requires a person of Aboriginal ancestry who also meets all other necessary qualifications

Hiring criteria shall include professional qualifications, professional experience, teaching experience, college contributions, community awareness and personal attributes so far as they are applicable to the job classification in question.
