About The Opportunity
Our Public Sector client is driving a high-impact initiative and is looking to bring on an experienced Senior Project Management Specialist who can step in confidently and lead complex workstreams from end to end. This role supports a large, multi-year project with visibility across the enterprise, making it a strong fit for someone who is energized by orchestrating delivery, aligning resources, and ensuring accountability at every stage of execution.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Oversee the project throughout all phases by ensuring resources are adequately utilized and the project is completed and fully operational within previously agreed timelines and performance parameters
• Develop project plans and prioritize work to achieve project objectives, working with project resources and ensuring collaboration with other teams as required
• Responsible for delivering defined scope and work plans to meet project objectives within defined quality and time while managing associated risks, issues, and project interdependencies
• Prepare and present proposals, plans, charts, status reports, and risk logs to assist in analyzing, displaying, and socializing progress, challenges, issues, and problems using a variety of project management tools
• Oversee project risks, issues, and interdependencies while delivering defined scope and work plans within established quality and timeframes
• Collaborate with external suppliers, stakeholders, and project team members to clearly identify project challenges and issues and work jointly to develop and propose effective solutions
• Develop and maintain effective and collaborative relationships with stakeholders and business partners to ensure understanding of client needs and support effective resolution of inquiries and concerns
• Effectively handle and communicate unplanned project activities such as re-planning and recalibration
• Work independently with limited support or involvement from senior management
• Provide project management expertise for all project activities by working with stakeholders, project team members, and groups across the Public Sector client using proven PM best practices and methodologies
• Provide regular updates on progress and value delivery to senior management and or sponsor
• Ensure all project deliverables are completed including all required documentation and processes
• Other activities and deliverables as required

About You
You bring a strong leadership mindset, a track record of managing complex, multi-year initiatives, and the confidence to own execution in a dynamic environment. You know how to communicate with clarity, build alignment, and keep large teams focused on delivery and possess the following:

• University Degree or College Diploma in a related field (information technology, project management, business analysis, etc.) or equivalent work experience
• A minimum of ten (10) years of recent demonstrated experience as a Senior Project Management Specialist in overseeing large projects (more than 40 project resources, over multiple years) in a complex environment
• A minimum of five (5) years of experience using Agile or hybrid delivery approaches (Agile / Waterfall) to deliver strategic projects
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage technical and non-technical audiences
• Strong demonstrated business acumen, including the ability to identify and communicate value and translate business needs into project objectives
• Demonstrated experience leading multiple initiatives concurrently and effectively managing interdependencies
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with others to achieve objectives
• Strong English communication skills.

• Experience delivering large projects in the financial sector
• Understanding of Central Bank business environments
• PMI certifications

• Start date: Jan 2nd, 2026
• Duration: Fourteen-months (with a six-month extension option)
• Work Environment: Remote
