Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team. As a Server, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that all patrons receive outstanding service in a warm and welcoming environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly and provide them with menus
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately using the POS system
  • Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience
  • Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation standards are met
  • Monitor tables to ensure guests have everything they need during their meal
  • Handle cash transactions efficiently and accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed
  • Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including sanitizing tables and utensils
  • Assist in setting up and breaking down dining areas for special events or large parties
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of meals

Requirements

  • Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating bills
  • Strong time management skills to efficiently serve multiple tables at once
  • Experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required
  • Familiarity with POS systems is a plus
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills, with a friendly demeanor towards guests and team members
  • Commitment to maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with health regulations
