HV Logic Ltd. is an Alberta-based High Voltage Electrical Engineering company that specializes in digital equipment in the power industry. Professional services include project consulting and management, substation electrical and relay settings design, automation logic, SCADA programming, network design and configuration, cyber security assessment and planning. HV Logic Ltd. has experience delivering results for a wide range of clients in the electric utilities, oil and gas, and renewables sectors in Alberta.

To support the continued growth of the company, HV Logic Ltd. is currently seeking a energetic
Business Administrator
to support a wide range of operational functions. The successful candidate will be joining a small, agile team. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, proactive, and enjoys working across multiple departments including administration, marketing, compliance, fleet management, and HR.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to management, including scheduling, calendar coordination, and correspondence
  • Oversee day-to-day office operations including supplies, cleanliness, mail handling, and reception duties
  • Support HR processes including onboarding/offboarding, employee records, recruitment coordination, and orientation materials
  • Assist with safety program management including inspections, training coordination, and compliance platform updates (ISN, ComplyWorks, Avetta)
  • Manage marketing tasks including LinkedIn content, ordering and developing materials, and funding research
  • Coordinate company events and logistics (venue booking, catering, setup)
  • Maintain IT-related logs and distribute monthly cybersecurity updates
  • Support fleet management including vehicle inspections, maintenance tracking, and reporting
  • Assist managers with project-related administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications

  • Diploma or equivalent experience in office administration or business operations
  • Previous experience in administrative support roles
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Detail-oriented, punctual, and proactive
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams
  • Interest in learning and improving systems and processes

Experience with any of the following would be considered an asset:

  • Safety and compliance platforms (ISN, ComplyWorks, Avetta)
  • Social media content management (LinkedIn)
  • Fleet or vehicle maintenance coordination
  • HR onboarding/offboarding processes
  • Event planning
