About the Role:

We're seeking a full time, friendly and detail-oriented Customer Service / Inside Sales Representative to join our team. You'll be the first point of contact for customers in our showroom — assisting with inquiries, increasing sales, processing orders, and ensuring our displays are fully stocked and welcoming. Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist customers in the showroom and over the phone with professionalism and enthusiasm
  • Drive sales growth by upselling and cross-selling products that meet customer needs
  • Process customer orders, quotes, and inquiries accurately and efficiently
  • Provide product information and recommendations to help customers find the right solutions
  • Support outside sales representatives by preparing quotes, following up on orders, and identifying opportunities
  • Assist Management and Marketing with administrative and support tasks
  • Keep the showroom clean, organized, and fully stocked — including merchandising, restocking shelves, and maintaining product displays
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs with purchasing and warehouse teams
  • Handle returns, exchanges, and customer concerns with a focus on service and satisfaction
  • Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in customer service, inside sales, or retail preferred (industrial, safety, or janitorial supply experience an asset)
  • Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills
  • Comfortable with computers, POS systems, and Microsoft Office programs
  • A proactive attitude, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Sales-oriented with experience in the janitorial/sanitation and food industry is an asset
  • Ability to demonstrate empathy and patience with customers
  • Strong computer and technology skills (Microsoft, Inform and accounting software)
  • Ability to work well independently and thrive in a team environment
  • Proven drive to assist with customer service and maintain our showroom
  • Strong time management, organization, and multi-tasking skills
  • Dependable and punctual
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. unassisted

Other Requirements:

  • Reliable transportation to 80 National Street, Garson, ON. (No public transportation available)
  • Fluent in English (oral and written) – because communication is key
  • Proficiency in French is an asset but not required – it's like the cherry on top

Job Type

  • Schedule: Monday- Friday 8 hr shift

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $19.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
