Dental Assistant/ Certified Dental Assistant

Duties:

- Assist the dentist during dental procedures

- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments

- Has completed xray module and can take and develop dental x-rays

- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures

- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care

- Maintain accurate patient records and update medical history forms

- Schedule patient appointments and manage the dental office calendar

- Perform dental receptionist duties as needed

Qualifications:

- Completion of a dental assistant program or equivalent experience

- Knowledge of dental assisting techniques and procedures

- Proficiency in using dental software systems such as Open Dental

- Experience in working with pediatric and orthodontic patients is a plus

- Strong communication skills and Cantonese/Mandarin speaking is an asset.

- Knowledge of dental terminology
