Job Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bakery Team Members to join our dynamic kitchen staff. In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering high-quality food service and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests. As a Kitchen Team Member, you will assist in food preparation, cooking, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.

Key roles and duties

  • Follow recipe and prep items.
  • Preparation of food and beverages.
  • Accountable for cleanliness, uniform, grooming, organization, and consistency.
  • Wash, rinse, sanitize, and arrange all the kitchen utensils.
  • Serve food and beverages while ensuring maximum guest satisfaction.
  • Manage inventory.
  • Taking orders, answering queries and provide recommendations based on customer needs.
  • Ensure rotation, labelling and dating all the products.
  • Ocassionally lift, move, carry and stack items of upto 50lbs from various heights to and from shelves amd basement.
  • Collect and dispose garbage, food waste and recyclable materials.
  • Sweep and mop floors as required during and after the shift.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience or education in the baking industry or restaurant environment is highly preferred but not required.
  • Basic knowledge of food safety practices and meal preparation techniques is a plus.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong teamwork skills with a willingness to help others in the kitchen.
  • Good communication skills to interact with team members and follow instructions effectively.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
