Duties:
· Conduct in-depth market research to identify potential customers, focusing on family-owned businesses in the greenhouse industry.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers, understanding their unique needs and challenges in greenhouse applications and computer control systems.
· Meet or exceed sales targets and goals through effective sales strategies, emphasizing the benefits of the new greenhouse machinery and computer control systems.
· Present and demonstrate the innovative machinery and computer control systems to potential customers, showcasing their capabilities in increasing production and efficiency.
· Negotiate contracts and pricing with customers, ensuring a mutually beneficial agreement.
· Provide excellent customer service, promptly addressing inquiries or concerns related to the machinery, computer control systems, or electrical services.
· Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and the successful delivery of machinery, computer control systems, and electrical solutions.
· Prepare comprehensive sales reports and maintain accurate records of sales activities.
Experience:
- Proven experience in sales, with a preference for candidates who have successfully sold machinery, computer control systems, or technology solutions in the greenhouse industry.
- Strong ability to prospect, qualify, and close sales opportunities within the family-owned greenhouse businesses.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, tailored to effectively engage with business owners and stakeholders.
- Ability to build rapport and establish trust with customers, understanding their unique needs in greenhouse applications and computer control systems.
- Prior experience or familiarity with greenhouse operations and computer control systems is preferred.
- Self-motivated with a strong drive for results.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
