As a Mechanics Helper, you will play a crucial role in assisting our mechanics in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various vehicles and equipment. Your technical skills and attention to detail will contribute to our team's overall success and ensure the smooth operation of our vehicles.

Mechanics Helper Responsibilities

  • Carry out routine maintenance tasks, such as changing oil, replacing filters, and lubricating components, under the guidance and supervision of mechanics.
  • Assist with the repair and replacement of faulty parts,
  • Clean and organize work areas, tools, and equipment to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Assist in organizing inventory of parts and supplies needed for repairs and maintenance.
  • Follow all safety procedures and guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed on equipment.

Job Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Mechanics Helper or in a similar role is preferred.
  • Certification from a vocational school, technical institute, or automotive program an asset. Relevant Experience will be considered
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of automotive systems and components.
  • Proficiency in using various hand and power tools commonly used in automotive repair.
  • Good time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.
  • Physical strength and stamina to perform physically demanding tasks, such as lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods.
  • Basic computer skills to record and access maintenance data.

Job Types: Full-time, Casual

Pay: $22.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
