Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Hotel Housekeeper/ house person to maintain the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas. The ideal candidate will ensure a welcoming environment for guests by providing exceptional custodial services. This role is essential in delivering a positive guest experience and upholding the hotel's high standards of hygiene and presentation.

Responsibilities

  • Clean and disinfect guest rooms, including making beds, vacuuming, dusting, and replenishing supplies
  • Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, and restrooms
  • Handle laundry duties, including washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels
  • Report any maintenance issues or damages to management promptly
  • Follow safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals responsibly
  • Restock supplies as needed to ensure rooms are fully equipped for guest use
  • Adhere to hotel policies regarding guest privacy and confidentiality

Requirements

  • Previous experience in cleaning, custodial work, or hospitality preferred; hotel or industrial cleaning experience is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards of cleanliness
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Good physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, bending, and lifting
  • Reliable with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
  • Ability to follow instructions and maintain confidentiality of guest information
