Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Head Chef with a background in a QSR environment for a new restaurant specialising in "momo". The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive kitchen experience, and a deep understanding of food safety and preparation. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, menu development, and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation.
Duties
- Supervise and manage kitchen staff to ensure efficient operation and high-quality food service.
- Develop and design innovative menus that reflect current food trends while meeting customer preferences.
- Oversee food preparation processes to ensure adherence to safety and hygiene standards.
- Train and mentor kitchen staff in cooking techniques, food handling, and best practices in restaurant management.
- Maintain inventory levels of food supplies and order as necessary to ensure timely availability of ingredients.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to enhance the overall dining experience for guests.
- Monitor kitchen operations to ensure compliance with health regulations and company policies.
- Implement cost control measures while maintaining quality standards in food production.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar leadership role within the food industry.
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food service management.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a team effectively while fostering a positive work environment.
- Extensive knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in hospitality.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to inspire and lead a diverse team.
