About The Role
Axiom Builders is hiring an Interior Superintendent for an architecturally stunning, high-end 42-storey residential project in Downtown Vancouver.

As Interior Superintendent, you'll oversee all aspects of interior construction from rough ins to final finishes ensuring quality, schedule, and design intent are met. Quality and precision is imperative for this luxury high-rise that has over 175 units. This is the type of project that sets your career apart

Key Responsibilities

• Communicate quality control inspection findings to project teams and trade partners to implement all necessary changes needed;
• Manage and review project tasks and drawings on site to ensure the compliance of quality plans and procedures;
• Direct technicians and trades teams to ensure quality compliance, critical inspection activities, while highlighting and reporting major issues project team;
• Managing the unique project with luxury finishes and bespoke floor plans, and the demands of stakeholders;
• Plan and track project schedules, material quantities, inspections, equipment requirements;
• Maintain and ensure safe job site requirements are in compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety and WCB.

The ideal Interior Superintendent is a meticulous and detailed Superintendent who can drive a project forward with consistently changing conditions in the project schedule. As a leader on site, you communicate effectively to ensure your team is prepared to deliver results in a highly detailed and fast-paced environment. You are dependable and transparent, but most importantly, you share Axiom's commitment to quality and excellence, committed to delivering your best work on every project you are a part of.

Skills And Requirements

• At least 5-7 years of experience working on high-rise concrete projects as an Interior Superintendent for a General Contractor;
• Proven ability to leading a site-based construction team;
• Strong communication and organizational skills to direct and instruct technicians and trade partners;
• Excellent knowledge of construction drawings and strong understanding construction practices is required;
• Experience with Microsoft Projects and Excel is required; Procore will be considered an asset;
• Certificate, diploma, and/or degree in Construction Management or Construction related programs (carpentry) will be considered an asset.
