Position: Human Resources & Payroll Administrator
Requirements:
· Previous experience and/or education background in HR
· SageHR / Sage 50 software experience is an asset
· Familiarity with BC WCB is important
· Professional conduct & a high degree of confidentiality.
· Strong communication & organizational skills
· Develop & strengthen company culture and strong employee relations
· Previous payroll experience and knowledge
· Health and Safety Experience is an asset
Responsibilities:
· Recruiting, retention, onboarding and offboarding (Hiring, performance reviews, internal personnel growth, offboarding employees and ensuring compliance)
- Education & staff development programs
- Administer benefits program
- WCB compliance & claims
- Safety Compliance Officer per WCB requirements
- Sage HR & Sage 50 software payroll administration
- Employee reporting, analytics, documentation and maintaining employee records.
- Coordinate employee events
- Calculate and process regular pay, overtime, bonuses, and other payments
- Prepare and verify employee earning statements, including deductions for taxes and insurances
- Prepare year end tax statements (e.g. T4s)
- Resolve payroll discrepancies
Wage Range: $60,000-$65,000 based on experience
Hours: Monday to Friday: 7:30am-4:00pm
