Job Overview

We are seeking professional AZ Drivers based out of Ayr, Ontario for both single short-haul U.S. runs and team long-haul West Coast runs. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles, delivering freight on time, and maintaining full compliance with cross-border and transportation regulations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, communication, and reliability.

Duties

  • Safely operate company trucks for cross-border freight transportation
  • Complete short U.S. runs (Singles) or West Coast long-haul runs (Teams)
  • Perform accurate pre-trip and post-trip inspections
  • Ensure timely deliveries according to dispatch schedules
  • Maintain clear and accurate logs, border paperwork, and delivery documentation
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and team members regarding schedules, changes, or delays
  • Report any mechanical issues promptly to maintenance
  • Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies at all times

Requirements

  • Valid AZ licence with a clean driving record
  • Experience in commercial long-haul or cross-border trucking preferred
  • Ability to run U.S. routes (Passport or FAST card, or willingness to obtain)
  • Strong understanding of safe driving practices and regulatory compliance
  • Ability to work independently and manage delivery timelines
  • Physically capable of performing standard driver duties (climbing in/out of trucks, securing paperwork, etc.)
  • Professional attitude, reliability, and strong communication skills
