Order Entry Clerk

With our continuous expansion of client networks, we now provide fresh produce to more than 1,300 produce markets across Canada. To this day, we are still committed to provide personalized attention, value-added service, and provide the highest quality in produce to our clients. We place our customers first by bringing over 400 varieties of fresh produce from over 40 different countries
The Order Entry Clerk will receive and process orders accurately and efficiently for our facilities.
This position requires early morning shifts starting at 5:00 a.m., including Sundays. Access to a personal vehicle for transportation is strongly preferred
Role and Responsibilities
Print and review product orders from all our facilities
Receive and keypunch salesperson's fax-in orders and print packing slip for picking
Accumulate all orders and send over to our different facilities for packing
Print invoices and place customer copies in envelopes for shipping
Create back order invoices for any unfinished orders
Cross check shipped invoices
Check invoices to make sure there is no zero unit price and quantity errors
Print invoices for morning shipping and compile whole set of documents for shipping
Group the invoices in accordance with different payment terms
Sort the invoices of each group in alphabetical order
Make copies as requested by Accounting Dept.
Process goods receipts on company program
Enter credit notes into the computer system
Perform other duties and tasks assigned or required as are consistent with the nature and scope of the position
Qualifications and Education Requirements
High school education
Ability to meet deadlines with minimum supervision
Strong computer competency with advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Able to meet deadlines and work under time constraints
Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Strong organizational and project management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $19.00-$20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 24 per week
