Job Requirements:

  • Process guest arrivals and departures, including all necessary payments
  • Coordinate room assignments and pre-arrival packages
  • Input and review reservations from a variety of booking platforms
  • Coordinate with guests via email, text and phone
  • Problem solve and respond to guest questions and requests
  • Make the best personal recommendations for activities and restaurants
  • Answer the phone, directing calls and taking reservations
  • Arrange transportation for guests
  • Communicate with housekeeping and maintenance daily
  • Provide an exceptional yet personalized level of service

Qualifications:

  • Secondary school diploma
  • Training in tourism or hotel management is an asset
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Top-of-the-line organizational skills
  • Strong computer skills including experience with MS Office and PMS systems
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Able to work mornings, nights, weekends and statutory holidays
  • A sense of humour and a love for dogs
