Job Summary

The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry and possess strong time management skills to ensure efficient service during busy periods.

Duties

  • Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and standards
  • Operate the POS system, including Micros POS, for accurate order processing and cash handling
  • Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, equipment, and dining spaces in compliance with food safety regulations
  • Assist with upselling menu items to enhance the customer experience
  • Handle cash transactions accurately while ensuring proper change is given
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders
  • Adhere to all health and safety guidelines related to food handling and preparation

Experience

  • Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred
  • Familiarity with food preparation techniques and kitchen operations
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests
  • Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing
  • Knowledge of sanitation practices within the food industry is a plus
  • Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
