Job Description

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to produce both print and digital materials. In this role, you will collaborate closely with project managers, the marketing team, and fellow designers to develop impactful visual assets. You will be responsible for managing your workload efficiently, ensuring that all designs are delivered on time, aligned with project requirements, and meet our quality standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Creating designs for print and digital media can include traditional print media, social media graphics, and more.
  • Collaborating with other team members: You may need to work with other volunteers and staff members to discuss design needs and preferences.
  • Following branding guidelines: You may need to adhere to specific branding guidelines or styles to ensure consistency across all design materials.
  • Researching design trends: You may be asked to research and apply current design trends to your work.
  • Managing files: You will be responsible for searching, managing, and organizing previous publications of Latincouver to include them in the designs for the new project.
  • Providing creative solutions: You may be asked to come up with creative solutions for graphic designs.

Qualifications/Skills:

  • More than a year of demonstrated experience in graphic design.
  • Proficient with visual design programs such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Canva, and others.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
  • Continued education and research into design strategies and technologies.
  • Professional written and interpersonal skills when communicating with customers and clients.
  • Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel). Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and InDesign. Adobe Premiere or After Effects is a plus.
  • Being able to work independently on projects while meeting deadlines.
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field, or relevant experience.
  • Spanish or Portuguese is an asset.

Working hours: 15-20 hours per week (3 months)
