Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various systems and equipment on-site. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems, electrical components, and heavy equipment operation. The Installer will work closely with project managers and other team members to ensure installations are completed safely, efficiently, and to specifications. Candidates with experience in welding, rigging, and operating specialized machinery will find this position particularly suitable. This is a paid position suitable for individuals eager to develop their technical skills in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Install and assemble equipment, systems, or structures according to project specifications and safety standards
  • Operate heavy machinery such as excavators, backhoes, bucket trucks, and other heavy equipment safely and effectively
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete installations
  • Perform rigging tasks to secure loads during lifting and movement operations
  • Conduct electrical work involving low voltage systems as required by the project
  • Assist with the operation of bucket operations for elevated or hard-to-reach areas
  • Troubleshoot installation issues and perform necessary adjustments or repairs during setup
  • Follow safety protocols at all times to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and team members
  • Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines while maintaining quality standards

Requirements

  • Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in electrical systems, welding, or heavy equipment operation preferred
  • Ability to operate excavators, backhoes, bucket trucks, and other heavy machinery safely
  • Experience with hand tools, power tools, rigging, and low voltage electrical work is highly desirable
  • Strong understanding of safety procedures related to heavy equipment and electrical installations
  • Ability to work in various environmental conditions and lift up to 50 pounds regularly
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Prior experience with welding or rigging is a plus
  • Valid driver's license with experience operating heavy machinery preferred
