Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning tasks, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Duties

  • Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming in assigned areas.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools for various cleaning and maintenance tasks.
  • Conduct commercial cleaning in facilities such as offices, restrooms, and common areas.
  • Manage time effectively to ensure all cleaning duties are completed within designated timeframes.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any concerns or requests from facility occupants.
  • Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed, including minor upkeep.
  • Handle heavy lifting when required, ensuring proper techniques are used to maintain safety.
  • Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or equipment issues.

Qualifications

  • Previous custodial experience is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
  • Familiarity with commercial cleaning practices and standards is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and facility occupants.
  • Ability to manage time efficiently while maintaining high-quality work standards.
  • Comfortable using both hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Must be physically capable of performing heavy lifting and standing for extended periods.
