Interfor is seeking energetic and enthusiastic team players to join our team as a Millwright in Nairn Centre. The current rate for this position is $41.19 per hour, based on either a 4x12-hour weekly schedule or a 3x12-hour weekend schedule. Our 4x12 weekday schedule offers 10 hours at regular time followed by 2 hours of overtime each day, while the weekend schedule includes Sundays paid at 8 hours overtime plus 4 hours double overtime. What You'll Do

  • Preventive maintenance and repair of saw and planer mill equipment. 
  • Breakdown repairs of saw and planer mill equipment. 
  • Set up and calibration on planer mill equipment. 
  • Install machinery and equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, and other drawings. 
  • Work in a safe and efficient manner, following all safety rules and regulations. 

What You Offer

  • Red Seal Millwright or Planer Technician certification required. 
  • Strong safety background. 
  • Sawmill/planer experience an asset. 
  • Good technical, problem solving and trouble-shooting skills. 
  • Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
