Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Cook/Baker located in Pink Mountain, British Columbia. The Cook/Baker will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of foods, such as breads, pastries, and other baked goods. The role involves daily kitchen operations including mixing, kneading, baking, and monitoring the quality of the food produced. The Cook/Baker will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Experience in Culinary Arts, particularly baking and cooking
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to follow recipes and maintain consistency in food preparation
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
- Excellent attention to detail and high standards of quality
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy items
- Culinary degree or certification is a plus
