Electrical Assembly

Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret and work from electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings.
- Assemble and mount electrical components such as circuit breakers, relays, terminal blocks, contactors, PLCs, power supplies, and VFDs.
- Perform point-to-point wiring of control panels and power enclosures in accordance with schematics, customer specifications, and UL standards.
- Route and terminate wires neatly, ensuring proper labeling and compliance with wiring standards.
- Mount and install panels, subpanels, and components inside enclosures with proper layout, alignment, and secure fastening.
- Conduct continuity and functional testing during and after panel completion to verify proper operation.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship, organization, and safety in the workplace.
- Assemble components and subassemblies in accordance with company standards and electrical procedures.
- Identify and report electrical or design discrepancies to the supervisor or team lead for corrective action.
- Adhere to company safety policies, including lockout/tagout and startup procedures.
- Ensure all work complies with UL 508A and internal quality standards.
- Assist with panel installation, troubleshooting, and factory acceptance testing (FAT) as required.
Educational Qualifications:
- Minimum: Diploma or Certificate in Electrical Engineering Technology, Electro-Mechanical Technology, Industrial Electrician, or related technical field.
- Preferred: Associate's degree in electrical or Mechatronics Engineering.
- Equivalent Experience: Candidates with demonstrated experience in electrical panel building, machine wiring, or industrial assembly will be considered in lieu of formal education.
Job Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience in electrical panel building and/or machine assembly.
- Highly motivated and self-directed with strong time management skills.
- Detail-oriented and reliable in meeting production and quality goals.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs during component or panel installation.
- Able to stand and perform hands-on assembly throughout the production shift.
- Proficient computer and technology skills.
- Strong problem-solving and communication abilities.
- Capable of working independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Comfortable working in a plant or shop-floor environment around machinery.
- Must possess basic hand tools and demonstrate safe use of power tools.
- Willingness to work overtime or alternate shifts as required by production demands.
