Northern Industrial Services, a leader in the Testing, Inspection, and Certification sector in Northern Ontario for over two decades, is currently seeking a highly skilled Level II NDT Technician to join our dynamic team.
As a key member of our organization, you will oversee NDT inspections ensuring compliance with industry codes and standards. We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team at Northern Industrial Services, where you will play a pivotal role in performing and completing NDT field inspections to the highest standards of quality and compliance. As a key member of our organization, your Duties and Responsibilities will include:
- Executing NDT field inspections in strict adherence to client, industry, and company standards and policies.
- Meticulously preparing and completing all required paperwork, ensuring accuracy and compliance at every stage.
- Maintaining equipment readiness through precise setup, calibration, and functionality checks, in alignment with client and company protocols
- Applying rigorous testing criteria as per relevant specifications, ensuring thoroughness and precision in every assessment

· Deep Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated expertise in NDT techniques, services, and procedures, ensuring precision and accuracy in every inspection.
· Regulatory Acumen: Fundamental understanding of industry codes, regulations, and best practices, ensuring compliance and safety in all operations.
· Technical Literacy: Ability to interpret and apply technical documents and procedures effectively in field operations, ensuring seamless execution of inspections.
· Exceptional Reporting Skills: Strong proficiency in report writing and review, delivering concise and insightful reports that drive informed decision-making.
· Effective Communication: Superior verbal and written communication skills, enabling seamless interaction with stakeholders and fostering strong relationships
Education and Work Experience:
- Possess a minimum of Canadian General Standards Board (CGSB) Level 2 MT and UT 1 certification, showcasing your proficiency and dedication to excellence.
- Enhance your value and earning potential with additional certifications such as RT, PT, and CWB VT, which are highly regarded and directly influence wage benefits.
- Valid class G driver's license.
