Salary: $88,990 – $111,237 (based on education, experience & qualifications)

Program/Service Specialist

About the Role

As a Program/Service Specialist, you will:

  • Research, develop, and implement best practices in clinical care and data management.
  • Drive quality improvement initiatives in partnership with clinical leaders, managers, physicians, and IT teams.
  • Act as a liaison and change agent across departments and care units.
  • Lead consultations and facilitate the adoption of standardized clinical processes and EMR tools.
  • Travel to Northern Health facilities to engage with educators and frontline staff.
  • Serve as a Data Steward, ensuring high standards for data quality and usage across the organization.
  • Coordinate and complete service projects focused on process improvement, productivity, and strategic planning.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
  • Current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
  • 5 to 7 years of experience in emergency clinical care and clinical operations.
  • Expertise in EMR systems, project management, change management, and group facilitation.
  • Valid BC driver's license.
  • Equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience will be considered.
