Description

NOTE:

This position is currently listed as "Onsite"; however, the Assignment under this request will provisionally be "Hybrid", working 7.25 hours per calendar day, sometime between 8:00-5:00 PM (excluding lunch breaks) Monday to Friday inclusive, unless otherwise identified. These conditions are subject to change as the OPS reflects on its current situation. During the duration of the assignment you will be under the discretion of the Hiring Manager's requirements for the Project you are assigned to.

The start date is subject to change based on security clearances and contract signing timelines.

VOR:

The VOR Master Service Agreement expires on April 5, 2027, with a six (6) month survival clause included for Statements of Work (SOWs) allowing them to continue until October 5th, 2027 (if operationally required), leaving some contracts with funding unassigned for fiscal

If the current statement of work expires on October 5th, 2027, the remaining funds can be used to exercise an option to extend the SOW beyond October 5, 2027, based on business case approvals. Such extensions will be allowable, only if the Master Service Agreement is extended beyond October 5, 2027, and be upon the same terms, conditions, and covenants contained in the SOW.

Scope:

  • Architecting the Ontario Police Arbitration and commission (OPAC's) case management solution based on Microsoft Power Platform (Dynamics)

  • Modernization of OPAC website (WordPress) on Azure platform.

  • Development of OPAC solution (MS Power Platform - Dynamics)

  • Work with the project team, support team and partners in enhancing the IOP Portal.

  • Assessing new needs from the business partners

  • Design enhancements for RTD (Microsoft Dynamics Solution).

  • Design enhancements for IOP

  • Ongoing support for IOP

Deliverables:

  • Ongoing Development & Deployments (Code and Test)

  • Architectural and Design Documentation

Experience and Skill Set Requirements

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Experience leading the architecture design from conception through implementation.

  • Leadership experience in the development and implementation of technical architectures at the specified experience level.

  • Extensive experience with at least various platforms, operating systems, environments, database technologies, and communications protocols Experience with middleware and gateways.

  • Knowledge of performance considerations in different environments.

  • Experience in structured methodologies for the design, development, and implementation of applications.

  • Extensive experience in systems analysis and design in large systems environments.
