We are a locally owned and growing company specializing in excavation, hauling, and site services. We're looking for a reliable and skilled Class 3 Tandem Bin Truck Driver to join our team.
Position Details:
You'll be responsible for operating a 40-yard tandem bin truck, hauling various materials between job sites and dump sites. The ideal candidate has experience with construction hauling, knows how to safely secure loads, and takes pride in maintaining equipment.
Pay: $25–$30 per hour — based on experience and skill.
Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday (occasional weekends as needed).
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a tandem axle bin truck (Class 3)
- Haul materials such as soil, rock, and debris between sites
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain a clean and professional vehicle
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and site crews
- Follow all safety procedures and road regulations
Requirements:
- Valid Class 3 driver's licence with clean abstract
- Experience operating a tandem truck
- Knowledge of local dump sites and hauling procedures
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-minded
Assets:
- Excavator operating skills
- Class 1 licence
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. Duties
- Operate commercial trucks to transport freight between locations safely and efficiently.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Load and unload cargo, utilizing forklifts and other heavy equipment as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of driving hours, mileage, and fuel consumption.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding schedules, routes, and any issues encountered during transport.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal transportation regulations while on the road.
- Perform basic automotive repairs as needed to ensure vehicle reliability.
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is required.
- Experience in freight transportation is preferred.
- Proficiency in operating forklifts and heavy equipment is a plus.
- Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance and basic automotive repair skills.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines consistently.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
