JOB SUMMARY

The Architectural sheet metal Apprentice will assist experienced installers in the installation of metal roofing components, custom trims, flashing, drip-edge, fascia, soffit, and related exterior metal work. No experience is required — Wynker Brothers provides full, hands-on training.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Commit to learning trade skills, metal roofing techniques, safety practices, and jobsite expectations.

  • Work directly under the guidance of a Foreman and experienced installers.

  • Take direction well and communicate clearly with your Foreman throughout the workday.

  • Assist with installing standing seam (metal roofing) panels, snap-lock panels, ridge caps, gable trims, drip-edge, and related metal roofing components.

  • Measure, cut, hem, notch, and fit metal roofing materials using basic hand tools and powered shears.

  • Help your Foreman with material handling, staging, loading, and organizing jobsite components.

  • Maintain clean, safe, and professional jobsites.

  • Ask questions when unsure, seek feedback, and show steady growth in skill and responsibility.

  • Support general exterior work as needed and contribute to a positive crew environment.
