A local songwriter and artist in London, Ontario, is seeking a dedicated music producer with access to a recording studio for a new hip hop track. The artist, experienced in rap, R&B, and rock, is looking for hands-on support to elevate their music, including custom instrumental production, recording, mixing, and guidance throughout the release process. This is an opportunity to collaborate closely on a personal project, providing both technical expertise and creative mentorship to help launch the artist's music career.

Deliverables

  • Develop and produce a custom instrumental tailored to the artist's style and vision
  • Facilitate professional studio recording sessions for vocals and instrumentation
  • Oversee the mixing and mastering process to ensure a polished final track
  • Provide creative input and mentorship throughout the project
  • Support the artist in preparing the song for release, including basic distribution guidance

Requirements

  • Proven experience in music production, especially within hip hop, R&B, or related genres
  • Access to a fully equipped recording studio in London, Ontario, and ability to work onsite
  • Proficiency in music production software (e.g., Ableton Live, FL Studio, Logic Pro)
  • Strong skills in mixing and mastering
  • Ability to collaborate with artists at various experience levels, offering constructive feedback and mentorship
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Availability for in-person sessions throughout the project duration
