What you'll be doing
As the Senior Manager, Business Analytics - CAM, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the data infrastructure that supports the reporting, analysis, and strategic initiatives for CIBC's Collections function. This includes designing, building, and managing the data pipelines and architecture needed to collect, store, and process data related to collections performance, customer interactions, and financial outcomes. With your knowledge of the collections process and advanced data engineering expertise, you will ensure that the right data is available to the business for decision-making, performance evaluation, and future strategy development. You will oversee the development of a robust data platform that supports various reporting needs for early-stage, mid-stage, late-stage, and dialer collections. Your team will be responsible for transforming raw data into actionable insights and ensuring that collections leaders and stakeholders have the data they need to optimize performance and reduce losses. Additionally, you will work closely with other teams in IT, Business Intelligence, and Risk to ensure data integrity and compliance with governance standards.
At CIBC, we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You'll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you'll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.

You will be responsible for data validation, transformation, and optimization to ensure reliability for business decision-making. Utilize your in-depth knowledge of collections processes (early-stage, mid-stage, late-stage, and dialer collections) to inform data modeling and architecture decisions.
- Technology & Innovation - Stay current with emerging technologies and innovations in data engineering, and introduce new solutions to improve the efficiency and performance of the data platform. You will also manage the integration of new data sources into the data lake.
