Job DescriptionPrimary Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure using Azure services.
  • Monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot cloud resources and performance.
  • Work with Azure compute, storage, database, and networking services including Azure VMs, AKS, Azure SQL, Blob Storage, VNETs, VPNs, and ExpressRoute.
  • Manage Azure Active Directory, RBAC configurations, and security policies.
  • Build, manage, and optimize Databricks environments for advanced analytics and large-scale data processing.
  • Develop, enhance, and maintain ETL pipelines integrated across various data sources.
  • Optimize Databricks performance, cluster configurations, and cost management.
  • Write, maintain, and version Terraform code to automate provisioning of cloud infrastructure.
  • Implement strong Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices ensuring repeatability, consistency, and compliance.
  • Build, maintain, and support CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, deployments, and testing.
  • Work with tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or equivalent.
  • Ensure DevOps workflows follow security and compliance requirements.
  • Document architecture, configuration standards, operational procedures, and troubleshooting guides.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in Cloud or DevOps Engineering with strong focus on Azure.
  • Proven hands-on experience with Databricks and related data engineering workflows.
  • Expert-level knowledge of Terraform and Infrastructure as Code principles.
  • Strong experience with CI/CD tools and DevOps automation practices.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages: Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
  • Solid understanding of networking, security, and cloud governance.
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
  • Azure certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect, Azure DevOps Engineer, or equivalent preferred.
  • Familiarity with Big Data technologies and modern data ecosystem tools.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, highly regulated financial environment.
