Part-Time Credit Analyst (Remote)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Credit Analyst to support our credit and administration operations. This position is an ideal fit for experienced professionals looking for a reliable, weekday-morning remote role with steady hours and a supportive environment. It is also ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals who want to gain hands-on experience in credit assessment, financial analysis, and commercial lending.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze credit applications and supporting financial documents
  • Research and assess equipment values and market comparables
  • Prepare credit approval sheets and summaries for management review
  • Maintain organized records and ensure compliance with company policies
  • Provide general administrative support to management

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Commerce, or a related analytical field
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment

Assets:

  • Knowledge or experience with heavy equipment, highway trucks, or trailers

  • Experience with analyzing bank statements and credit reports (Equifax, Paynet)

  • Fluency in French, Punjabi, or Hindi
  • Prior experience or internship in equipment finance, credit, banking, or lending
