Overview

We're looking for reliable Driver with experience in car hauling, have rucover 3 years experience in car hauling to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for hauling Brand new and Used cars across long distances such as Ontario, Quebec, British Columbia and Alberta, ensuring timely and safe delivery while adhering to all transportation regulations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to manage time effectively.

Duties

  • Operate hauling vehicles to transport brand new and used cars over long distances, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and safety regulations.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe operating condition.
  • Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, rest periods, and mileage as required by federal regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
  • Load and unload freight as necessary, utilizing all equipment when required.
  • Perform basic automotive repairs and maintenance on the vehicle to ensure optimal performance during trips.
  • Follow established routes and schedules while being flexible to adapt to changes in delivery plans.

Requirements

  • Valid AZ license with a clean driving record.
  • Proven 3+ years car hauling experience
  • Familiarity with dispatch applications.
  • Excellent communication skills for interaction with dispatchers and clients.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to adhere to strict safety protocols and regulations throughout all operations.
  • Knowledge of automotive repair is a plus for maintaining vehicle performance on the road.
  • Willing to travel to different provinces such as Ontario, Quebec, British Columbia and Alberta
  • Willing to sign a 1-year contract
