Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and eager Apprentice to join our team. This entry-level position is designed for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in plumbing. The Apprentice will work under the guidance of experienced professionals, learning essential skills and techniques while contributing to ongoing projects.

Responsibilities

  • Assist skilled tradespeople in daily tasks and projects
  • Learn to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
  • Participate in the assembly and installation of various components
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
  • Perform maintenance tasks as directed by supervisors
  • Support carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, and welding activities as needed
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe workplace

Skills

  • Basic mechanical knowledge with a willingness to learn more
  • Familiarity with carpentry techniques and practices
  • Understanding of HVAC systems and components
  • Proficient in using hand tools and power tools safely
  • Experience or interest in construction practices
  • Knowledge of plumbing systems is a plus
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately
  • Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
  • Strong assembly skills with attention to detail
  • Welding experience is advantageous but not required
  • A proactive attitude towards maintenance tasks
