Site: | Ciena Corporation (5050 Innovation Dr)  

Hours: | Week 1 Monday-Tuesday, Week 2 Wednesday, Thursday, Friday - Rotating Shifts

Pay rate: | $22.15/hour

Job Responsibilities 

Dispatching alarm and occurrence responses Coordinating scheduling changes and book-offsDocumenting all information into comprehensive reports Escalating situations to stakeholders as required Ensure necessary procedures are followed in the event of emergencies such as bomb threats, fires, and break and enters Liaise with local emergency services and client personnel Provides briefings to management, supervisors and staff as required Patrolling Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

Valid Security License for the province of OntarioValid (WSIB Approved) First Aid Certificate Level C Authorized to legally work in Canada

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities of the job: 

Functional ability with the Windows operating system and Windows Office software such as Excel and WordAbility to multitask and prioritize tasks Familiarity with Tracktik is considered an assetSuperior customer service and professionalismAbove average English communication skills, both verbal and written; French is considered a strong asset Ability to function independently and effectively in a dynamic environment
