What is the opportunity?
RCAP Leasing is a subsidiary of RBC that offers leasing services for various sectors and equipment suppliers. As a Quality Verification Officer, you will play a key role in mitigating credit and operational risks. You will provide support to our vendor and commercial banking relationship clients. You enhance our funding processes and mitigate against risk by effectively reviewing documentation (lease schedules, security, authorizations) against credit approvals and conditions prior to funding.
What will you do?
Review documentation to ensure quality, accuracy and alignment to all internal policies and procedures prior to advance as follows:
Vetting all documents to ensure forms are completed accurately and compliance with product, service and legal requirements, including eligibility, limit criteria and authorized policy
Verifying all outlined conditions/pre-conditions have been met prior to processing, including obtaining documentation specified in the approval commentary
Conducting secondary verification on all leasing transactions against transactions approved in our Leasing source systems
What do you need to succeed?
Must have:
Excellent customer service skills and proven ability to manage conflict
Excellent organizational skills and ability to effectively manage time and priorities
Demonstrated ability to resolve discrepancies and recommend alternatives
Ability to discern when to update and seek guidance from your leader
Strong willingness and desire to learn
Detail-oriented and able to understand the terms and conditions of the contracts
Ability to work well within a team and independently
Nice to have:
Experience in banking, leasing
French communication skills
