Summary of Duties:

Reporting to the Manager, Employee Relations & Recruitment, the Employee Relations Advisor provides a variety of supports to the Service Areas, providing client-focused consultation and advice on a broad spectrum of human resources practices, including interpretation of corporate policies and procedures, and interpretation and application of collective agreements, recruitment, performance development, orientation, onboarding and organizational design. The position works in partnership with specialty areas within the Human Resources Division to provide services to management and employees that reflects the City of London commitment to equity and inclusion, as well as effective and efficient delivery of services.

Qualifications/Experience:

University degree or Community College diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration or Social Science with specific training in the Human Resources disciplines.

CHRP designation is an asset.

A minimum five years of HR generalist experience or in a human resources advisory role, preferably in a unionized environment.

Compensation Range/Other Information:

$88,112 - $115,065

This posting is for 1 permanent full-time position.

Current hours of Work: Monday - Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Work Arrangement: Hybrid. Subject to change in accordance with business requirements.
